Rumous have been spreading that poker giants 888 may merge with 먹튀사이late next year, this could mean pacific poker could become one of the largest online poker rooms.

However nothing is set in stone as yet, this is merely forum gossip but has been spreading like wildfire.

Just finished watching this episode, was good to see Doyle Brunson play (although folding a hand to a lower flush)

Other highlights include watching Laliberte winning hand after hand (half of his winning he is donating to charity) this also introduced my favourite phrase of the series “Lesson number one for the potentially best bluffer in the world: don’t try to bluff billionaires,”

One annoying aspect of the game was Jamie Gold consistantly explaining how he was ‘the best bluffer in the world’ only to get bluffed by Benyamine

All in all a good episode and next weeks looks like their will be a lot more action and a lot more cash swapping hands.

ThePokerFilm is a newly released mini documentary which follows the life of 4 college students who make a killing player poker (both online and offline) view the series here

It certainly goes a bit ofcourse as it’s intentions were to show how these players live. Also having 3 episodes about a drinking competition certainly shows the college life rather than poker life. But all in all it’s entertaining if you have 20 mins to spare.

As most of you online players have heard Absolute Poker has come under a lot of scrutiny for having a ’super user’ account, this basiclly allowed a player (username potripper) to view all of the other players hole cards, obvsiouly giving him an advantage which he greedily used to steal pot after pot. Some believe he hacked the system (this is the stance that absolute are sticking with) while the majority believe this user ‘worked’ for absolute poker. For more info se this wikipedia entry

Remember the episode of ‘High Stakes Poker’ is on tonight, this show is the first of the series with a $500,000 buyin!

Facebook and pokerheaven have teamed up to launch a great IQ test. Checkout the plugin by going to the applications section of the site.

I’m currently ‘average’

The game asks wether you should call raise check or fold certain hands, this could even improve your game!

After reading on various ‘High Stakes’ poker forums it seems that Ladbrokes are out doing in the bigger rooms in terms of having more actively playing High Rollers, Many have said that $25/$50 – $100/$200 rooms were constantly full, despite Ladbrokes having a smaller player based than PokerStars and PartyPoker.

After watching ‘High stakes poker’ you may have noticed Negreanu reading players hands incredibly accurately. Checkout this video of a few hands where it looks like he can even see the other players cards! Click here

Checkout this article looks like PartyPoker may be returning to the US, rumours of poker Giant PartyPoker.com have been circulating for a while so fingers crosses that it happens. The fact Doyles Room returned to US players the other week can only increase this chance.

Thought this might be of interested to you ‘Jman’ has posted a thread about his experiences of playing High stakes poker with some BIG names (think Hellmuth and Negreanu) I’ts a long post but a very interesting read.
